Storm White joined the LINK team as an associate in September 2023. She uses her
organization, flexibility, and detail-oriented skills to add to team efficiency on LINK projects. As
an associate at LINK, Storm can widen her net and learn various skills to aid her in her LINK
career journey and beyond. Storm was born and raised in Washington, DC where she was raised to have a deep sense of community and a passion for service, education, and the arts.
She grew up attending DC public and charter schools, as well as committing to participation in community, church, and fine arts organizations. Her ties to her community give her a personal interest in LINK projects, which can bring a unique perspective and set of ideas to the services that LINK provides.
Storm graduated from Banneker High School before beginning her college career at
Montgomery College, where she received her associate degree in communications. She
continued her educational journey at Howard University where she recently received her
bachelor’s degree in communications. During her time at Howard, Storm was involved in several organizations, such as; Women of the Mecca (WOTM), National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), and National Action Network (NAN).
In addition to learning new skills, Storm aims to use the tools she already has to contribute to
LINK’s overall mission and add to project teams. Storm also plans to use the skills she learns
and cultivates at LINK to pursue her master’s and juris doctorate degrees in the near future.
