EDUCATION

B.F.A, Howard University, with a concentration in Graphic Design

Madison Greene is a graphic designer and a proud alumna of Howard University, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Madison’s work is deeply rooted in the Southern Black experience that shaped her upbringing. Now based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she continues to blend influences from the South, North, and West to create designs that reflect her diverse cultural background. Her work draws on the experiences from each place she’s called home, with each region shaping a fresh perspective to her designs.

Madison’s career includes a significant time with The Pivot Group, a political organization dedicated to progressive causes, campaigns, and organizations. During her time there, she worked alongside a diverse team of in-house designers, gaining invaluable experience in political design and learning about its significant impact on communities like her own. This experience not only enhanced her design skills but also broadened her understanding of the U.S. political landscape, particularly how design shapes public perception and sparks change. Through this work, she gained a deeper understanding of how visual storytelling plays a crucial role in shaping social and political narratives, often setting the tone before words are even read. This insight now guides her approach to design in her work with LINK.

Always seeking new ways to contribute, Madison is passionate about applying her skills to make a long-lasting impression with her designs. Outside of her design work, she enjoys roller skating at her local rink and spending quality time with family and friends, all while continuing to expand her skills across various disciplines within the fine arts.
