Prior to joining the LINK team, Heaven spent a year in Seoul, South Korea teaching English at a public elementary school. She taught more than 200 3rd-6th grade students and conducted summer and winter English camps. She also worked for nearly three years in federal consulting, where she engaged with clients on strategy, communications, and technology projects.
Heaven graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in International Relations and a minor in International Development. As a student, she had internships with the federal government and was involved in programs related to business, public policy, and government.
In her spare time, Heaven enjoys reading as many books as possible, sharpening her geography and history trivia, and traveling as much as she can. As a Silver Spring, MD native, Heaven enjoys her go-to bubble tea and Korean BBQ spots, while also exploring new places in the region.
