Donnell is a proud associate at LINK Strategic Partners and is also a part of the internship program with Urban Alliance. He is excited to make connections with the LINK team and learn about the amazing community building by shining a light on LINK clients’ community engagement projects and activations. Currently, Donnell is a student at Suitland High School. For the past four years, since attending Suitland High School, Donnell has been involved in a program called Model UN, which teaches about understanding our country, its relationship to the international community, and how its inner workings affect that relationship. That is what makes community outreach so important to Donnell—he doesn’t want to see just local community outreach, but statewide and international community outreach as well, and Donnell thinks that LINK is the place where he can develop those skills.  

Throughout Donnell ‘s years in high school, he has helped with several community service projects, such as passing out hygiene products, and delivering meals to homeless people on Thanksgiving. Donnell has also given his entire summers to helping older homeowners clean up their yards, so their environment can be as beautiful as they believe it should be.

During Donnell’s spare time, he likes to pull out his sketchbook and draw out fashion designs. It has always been a huge dream of Donnell’s to become a fashion designer, and an important skill to learn and master is how to deal with communities of diverse, highly individualistic people. Donnell believes that, at LINK, he will have the opportunity to develop interpersonal and communications skills he will be able to use throughout his career.
