LINK Strategic Partners Wins Three Prestigious Videographer Awards

Videos highlighting the important work of government agencies and non-profits were among the award recipients

WASHINGTON (October 1, 2020) — Social impact firm LINK Strategic Partners received three Videographer Awards on behalf of work it did with the District of Columbia’s Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, Arizona’s Project Benji, and the non-profit organization LearnServe International.

LINK’s video for the DC Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs spotlights customer service success stories. Project Benji is an innovative financial aid digital assistant (chat bot) that supports high school and college students with completing the sometimes confusing FAFSA forms. The Project Benji video explains the purpose of the bot and how to complete the FAFSA. The video for LearnServe International, a nonprofit organization that equips high school students from diverse backgrounds with the entrepreneurial vision, tenacity, confidence, and leadership skills needed to tackle social challenges at home and abroad, showcases real student participants and their stories of self-discovery while making real social impact.

“We are honored to have our creative video work recognized with the prestigious Videographer Awards,” said Michael Akin, President of LINK. “These awards shine spotlights on three amazing organizations doing community-based work that makes a real and lasting difference.”

The Videographer Awards is one of the oldest and most respected awards programs in the industry, celebrating its 24th year of awarding excellence in video and digital production. Judging for The Videographer Awards was done this year by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). AMCP is a third-party evaluator of creative work by marketing and communication professionals and has been judging competitions for two decades. AMCP judges are chosen based on their extensive experience and proven creativity in the video field. The Videographer Award of Excellence is awarded to those entries whose ability to capture the event or communicate the message is exceptional.
